Both tests follow the same collection process

The collection kit can be completed at home without any special preparation. Customer Care is available to eligible patients online or over the phone at 1-844-870-8870, every day, 6 AM to 10 PM CT.

Cologuard Results Summary

The Cologuard Results Summary is a downloadable resource that provides an overview of the 4 possible Cologuard results.

A positive Cologuard result means the test detected signs associated with colorectal cancer or precancer. This is not a cancer diagnosis. A colonoscopy is recommended for patients following a positive result. False positives and negatives can also occur.1,2

A negative Cologuard result means the test did not detect signs associated with colorectal cancer or precancer. Your patient is unlikely to have colorectal cancer or advanced precancer if their result is negative. Guidelines recommend screening again 3 years after a negative result.1-3
